Who we are
STARS Dorset is an independent chairty working throughout Dorset to provide specialist support services to anyone living, working or studying in Dorset who has been affected by any form of sexual violence. We have two centres, one in Poole the other in Dorchester. Our frontline services include a confidnetial telephonse supportline; a team of independent Sexual Violence Advisors providing practical and emotional support; therapeutic counselling service providing short and long term support and wellbeing workshops. We are currnelty developing our training offer and work with schools and education providers throughout Dorset. We have over 80 volunteers and 26 staff on our team.
