Who we are

SCVO is a West Bromwich-based charity working across the borough of Sandwell.

Our mission is to help local residents and communities access support, which enables them to take greater control of their lives, overcome challenges and make the most of opportunities available to them.

We work for a fairer and brighter future for all of Sandwell's residents. We do this by promoting the services of local charities, community organisations and social enterprises, and by supporting those organisations to develop, sustain themselves and provide the best possible support for those who need it.

We also work closely with a wide range of partners, including the local authority, health and the business community, to create an environment where communities can take a lead in addressing local problems and where voluntary activity, alongside professionalised not-for-profit services, can grow and thrive.
