About us
Who we are
We are a branch of the RSPCA based in Walsall. Our branch was established in 1914 and since this time we rescue over 300 animals per annum. We do not have an animal centre but run in the same way except our animals are cared for on a 1:1 basis by a network of fosterers across the Walsall area.
Our branch is run by volunteers who are passionate about animal care and give up their spare time to support us and being an advocate for animal welfare across the borough.
We are always looking for volunteers who may also wish to become a trustee. Our trustees are also volunteers who provide direction and oversight of how the branch is run, our trustees bring to the branch their professional skills to govern the branch activities and ensure the branch continues to operate and provide a service to the animal owners across Walsall.
