About us
Who we are
The River & Rowing Museum celebrates the history of Rowing, the River and the town of Henley on Thames. It is situated beside the river in an award-winning building, designed by David Chipperfield.
The Museum has three major galleries devoted to its themes, plus a walk-through exhibition telling the much-loved children’s story 'The Wind in the Willows'.
The Museum has a lively programme of lectures, adult workshops, family and children’s activities that compliment the collections and exhibitions. The Museum also has a full programme of special exhibitions, ensuring that there is always something new to see.
