About us
Who we are
Enabling young people to progress.
Richard Reeve’s Foundation, founded in 1702, is a permanently endowed grant-making charity which facilitates the education and life opportunities of young people in Islington, Camden and the City of London.
We are looking for one new Governor to help us make a success of our strategy of raising Literacy & Numeracy for primary school age children and facilitating progression into work for young people.
To achieve these aims, the Foundation works with a variety of partner organisations. We are seeking Governors who can bring in-depth knowledge to the Board by helping us evaluate potential partners and monitor performance, as well as stay abreast of new initiatives. Ideally, applicants will either have some knowledge of education provision and policies at local and/or national level, and/or some knowledge and experience of working with young people not in work, education or training (NEET).
We welcome applications from women and people from ethnic communities, of all ages, who are able to demonstrate that their skills and experience meet the criteria in the person specification for these roles.
