Who we are

Remake is a community reuse charity based in Crieff, Perthshire.

Our purpose is to promote the reuse of materials for the benefit of our community. 

We Supply, Inspire and Support Reuse for the benefit of our community. We provide a local solution to help mitigate the global problems of waste and climate change within a community support framework. We promote awareness of the benefits of reusing materials for everyone, including those most economically disadvantaged in our community.

We run a Reuse Hub in Crieff supplying textiles, craft materials, furniture, DIY materials and tools. We run an active volunteer programme and we support young adults through employment opportunities. We run a community tool library and run repair cafes.

In 2020 we carried out a strategic review of our activities with staff, trustees, volunteers and our community. We identified our core values as: Community, Integrity, Innovative Solutions, Purpose/Focus, Sustainable.
