Who we are

The Professional Gardeners’ Trust (PGT) provides grant funding to those employed in the horticultural sector who could not otherwise afford the opportunity to acquire additional skills and qualifications. The objective is to enhance individual careers and ultimately benefit the horticulture profession.

We're a small team of trustees and officers who meet three times a year (normally via Zoom and once as an 'away day', usually at an inspiring garden) and who field applications on a weekly basis. 2024 will be our 20th anniversary and we're keen to use that as a chance to build awareness of the work we do.
