Our staff
Our highly skilled multi-disciplinary team includes, among others: doctors and nurses, cardiac surgeons, cardiologists, cardiac physiologists, thoracic surgeons, respiratory physicians, specialist cardiothoracic anaesthetists, intensive care specialists, radiologists and pathologists. They are assisted by a wide range of specialist support staff including dieticians, speech therapists, physiotherapists, pharmacists, clinical educators and the infection control team.

New Papworth Hospital
It is an interesting and exciting time to join us. We are currently building a £165 million state-of-the-art Papworth Hospital on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus located in central Cambridge.
The co-location of Papworth Hospital with the other organisations on the Biomedical Campus will bring benefits to our patients as they will have immediate access to a range of services and also bring opportunities in terms of research and education on which the treatments of tomorrow will be based.
