Who we are
Northern Consortium is a unique educational charity, founded in 1987 by a group of Northern UK universities to support the advancement of education. We provide grants to other charities who deliver educational projects, activities or research. We are a registered charity, who are fundind by our subsidiary company [NCUK Ltd] which operates independently.
Board meetings are held twice a year, during office hours in Manchester, with sub-committee meetings also taking place within working hours (2/3 p.a.).
