About us

Who we are

Norfolk Clubhouse is part of a worldwide network of social enterprises that exist to provide positive work and life experiences for individuals 18 years and over, living with and managing long term mental health problems. It seeks to serve the varying communities within Norfolk to provide a sustainable place of belonging based on relationships and go some way to counter the often fragmented nature of existing service provision. It is being established to provide a membership ethos where the enterprise is run by and run for the members with support from paid staff.

Our Vision

To provide positive opportunities for those living with long-term mental health issues in Norfolk to find a place of safety and belonging for life which is empowering and meaningful. To connect aspiration with opportunity.

Our Mission

To deliver these positive opportunities in Norfolk in partnership with local employers and other providers of positive opportunities for education, training and employment. In so doing to promote social justice and cohesion and reduce social isolation.

This is to be articulated through the following four core ‘rights’

  • A right to a place to come to and belong

  • A right to meaningful work and life opportunities

  • A right to meaningful relationships

  • A right to a place to return

  • To expand the Clubhouse model of co-production throughout Norfolk.
