About us
Who we are
All our services are confidential and free to young people. We rely on the support of volunteers, local partnerships and dedicated staff who help thousands of young people a year.
We work to a model of good practice supported by Youth Access (the national membership organisation for Youth Information, Advice and Counselling services), promoting rights based information, advice and support. We offer quick and easy access to specialist help through our drop in provision, backed up by our specialist services. This enables us to help young people holistically offering them support ‘under one roof.’
All our services strive to safeguard the welfare of children and young people to the highest standard. We aim to involve children and young people in the planning, delivery and evaluation of all our services.
We have received many awards which recognise the achievements and fantastic work that we do with children and young people. In 2015, we won the ‘Advice and Guidance Award’ in the Children and Young People Now Awards, and in 2013 we won a prestigious GlaxoSmithKline IMPACT Award for its outstanding contribution to improving the health and wellbeing of young people in Southampton. The GSK IMPACT Awards, GSK’s flagship UK community investment programme organised in partnership with The King’s Fund, is seen as a ‘seal of excellence’ in the sector. As well as receiving £30,000 in funding No Limits had access to a training programme hosted by The King’s Fund that provides training, development and networking opportunities. Feedback has shown that this opportunity is as important to the winning charities as the funding as it helps them develop the skills to carry on building their organisation.
