About us
Who we are
No Limits is an award-winning, local, independent charity based in Southampton, and across Hampshire, providing a unique combination of prevention, early intervention and crisis support to children and young people, up to the age of 26 years.
We provide information, advice, counselling and support through a range of services available under one roof.
Set up in 1993, we have grown to support thousands of young people in Southampton and across Hampshire, through our Advice Centre, and the specialist projects/services we deliver, as well as drop in sessions in schools / colleges and within the community.
Our mission
Our mission is to empower children and young people to reach their full potential through information, advice, counselling and support.
Our values
At No Limits all our services are underpinned by our values, we are:
- Safe
- Inclusive
- Empowering
- Trustworthy
- Respectful
Our culture and values
The Management Team at No Limits have agreed cultural commitments and behaviours in line with the culture that we want to build for No Limits as part of our long term aims and No Limits values.
We’ll be reviewing these collectively periodically and they’re something that we want to keep constructive challenge about throughout the teams to keep us all accountable as we work towards them.
Equality, diversity and inclusion policy
At No Limits, it is important our staff and volunteers reflect, represent and have experience of the challenges faced by the children and young people we support. We are proud and appreciate our many staff and volunteers who use their own lived experience to support the children and young people they work with.
With this in mind, we are committed to equity, diversity and inclusion in all aspects of our work and organisational culture – and when recruiting, it’s important to us that we continue diversifying our staff and volunteer teams, with children and young people at the centre of everything we do.
When we talk about talent, we value the transferrable skills and experiences you can bring to No Limits, which can be through work (in the same or a different sector), volunteering or personal experiences. To make sure we get the best talent on our team, we are open to and actively encourage applications from all backgrounds and sections of the community, including diverse ethnic backgrounds, LGBTQIA+, disabled and neurodiverse.
