About us
Who we are
Newham New Deal Partnership was established in 2004, and has its roots in community development and regeneration.
We work locally and strategically across Newham and beyond. Our vision is of proactive and creative communities without barriers where everyone is able to fulfil their potential and live in dignity.
Our aim is to be an agent of community cohesion and transformation through delivering volunteer and training opportunities, services to vulnerable and hard to reach groups, place making and arts projects which inspire communities, enrich society and stimulate people to fulfil their potential.
Our Board of Trustees comprise people with local knowledge and understanding of local communities together with management and business skills.
We deliver volunteer and training opportunities, services to vulnerable and hard to reach groups, heritage, place making and arts projects which inspire communities, enrich society and stimulate people to fulfil their potential.
Volunteers play an important role in everything that we do. They help shape our services, and support local people. In return, we hope that volunteers can develop their knowledge, and personal and work skills, through volunteering with us. All volunteers for the Good Neighbours services will need to have a DBS check, which we pay for, and to undergo some training.
