New Choices for Youth [NCY] is an innovative East London charity, running a wide range of community projects relevant to the evolving needs of children and young people.

Established in Newham, NCY’s history and experience of working with vulnerable children and young people, their families in the community during challenging transitional periods spans many decades. This gives us the skills and know-how to help find solutions that work.

NCY’s staff and volunteers believe that nothing is impossible and work to address all issues associated with inner city deprivation that affect children and young people. Our services support children and young people in developing confidence and skills to find solutions that are right for them by reducing the barriers they face. Whether it’s accessing relevant schooling, training or employment, choosing to stay out of trouble, finding a safe place to live or socialise, helping them to live independently after leaving care or custody, or making informed decisions about themselves and the people they care for.
