SPEAK NEST: Supports the speak network; www.speak.org.uk SPEAK is a network of students and young adults who campaign and pray on issues of justice. . This involves a network of 30-35 link people and 20 or so local groups. Thousands of people across the UK use SPEAK resources. This network is supported by a charitable trust which supplies justice education, training events and resources. SPEAK has been going since 1998 and supporting by major UK NGOs including Christian Aid, and Tearfund. SPEAK Network, Events, Support & Training Registered Charity no. 1112979. SPEAK has been running since 1998 and the SPEAK NEST has been a registered charity since 2005. This job is working as an assistant to the founder of SPEAK / SPEAK NEST. NEST- GENERAL *Networks Events Support and Training Trust. NEST provides a support base of resources, events training and skill shares, for an extended family of various networks and projects. www.facebook.com/TheSpeakNetwork NEST supports the following networks and projects- * Plot for Peace – a shared mobile peace garden with some collaborating partners visiting events and festivals. * Music Speaks –www.musicspeaks.info an alternative social justice edutainment and arts group. * New Leaves – an action for justice in banking. * Take A Stanza Break The Code Write An Ode/Owed – a radical arts project collecting contributions to the world’s longest communal poem. Also educating people about justice in the money system www.new-leaves.org * A support and sponsorship scheme partnering with various radical individuals effecting changes for justice and peace.
