About us

Who we are

Uriel ben-Mordechai made Aliyah (immigrated to Israel) in 1982 from the San Francisco Bay area. His return was motivated by an inner desire to rediscover his Jewish identity and join efforts to strengthen Eretz Israel physically along with the Jewish soul of AHM Israel vis-à-vis Torat-Moshe.

Uriel has spent nearly four decades in Israel raising a family, serving in the IDF, establishing a business and lecturing internationally on the Torah, and on Israel and Biblical values common to both Jews and to Christians wishing to reconnect to the roots of their faith. He has founded and co-founded several non-profit entities around the world whose purpose has been to financially assist the needy in Jerusalem and throughout Eretz Israel. Amongst these, he continues to serve as President of the NRF, an Arizona based 501 (c)(3) non-profit, which supports Uriel’s vision. He also serves as CEO for Above and Beyond, Ltd, a Jerusalem-based Public Benefit corporation that partners with Chut HaM’shulash, as well the managing Trustee for the Nehemiah Supporters Group, the UK arm of Above and Beyond, Ltd [CC]. All of the above organizations have teamed up to raise funds for small businesses and needy families in the Land, and they also hosts a weekly online classroom that teaches interactive Torah-focused lessons in an open forum format. Both organizations are also engaged in ancient Biblical manuscripts research and in the pubication of Biblical translations.
