About us
Who we are
The National Brewery Heritage Trust (NBHT) was created in 2011 as a registered charity with the following objectives
- To protect, preserve and make available to the public the archives and artefacts which together make up the National Brewery Collection;
- To maintain and expand the collection and ensure that it remains intact in perpetuity;
- To support educational displays and events which demonstrate the impact of breweing on social and economic development, not just in the United Kingdom but worldwide;
- To promote a greater understanding of the history and impact of breweing;
- To seek sources of funding as appropriate for repair and restoration of the archive and artefacts.
It is run by a small group of unpaid Trustees
- This currently includes representatives from across the industry, including former brewing industry executies
