Who we are

Founded in 1997, Mousetrap Theatre Projects is a theatre education charity committed to providing opportunities for disadvantaged young people and young people with special needs to experience outstanding theatre across London.  We believe passionately in the power of theatre to transform young lives.  Theatre trips are just the starting point as we run over 20 access, creative learning and youth engagement programmes in state schools, with families and in community settings.  Workshops and education projects, led by skilled drama practitioners, encourage creativity, develop self-confidence, broaden horizons and raise aspirations for young people.  As an independent charity, we work with all theatres in the West End and across London, both commerical and subsidised, reaching close to 15,000 young people annually.
