At Miss Macaroon we're baking a brighter future.

Every penny we make in profit is invested in helping unemployed young people gain skills that will change their lives. 

Established in 2011, over the last 12 years we have supplied some of the world’s largest companies including Google, Instagram and KPMG with premium gluten-free macaroon branded gifts. We reinvest 100% of the profits in our Macaroons that Make A Difference training programme (MacsMAD), which supports 18 to 35 year olds with multiple and complex needs to build their skills and confidence and enter the world of work.

We help transform workplaces to enable trauma experienced people to thrive. At Miss Macaroon we have used our production kitchen, office and retail stores to prove the model of supporting young people with multiple and complex needs through the MacsMAD programme and then into supported paid work placements in kitchen assistant, retail assistant and business admin assistant roles. The paid jobs last from three weeks to 18 months depending on the needs of the young person and are instrumental in creating long term change for individuals.

“Before Miss Macaroon I was struggling with motivation and anxiety. A lot of changes were happening and having Autism, it was difficult to adapt to those changes. When I started Miss Macaroon, I suddenly started to be more motivated and took charge of my life. Miss Macaroon not only helped me to secure a role, they have taught me how to be independent and how to look after myself. I’ve worked at Miss Macaroon for 18 months as a business admin assistant and I’ve now got a job at a charity supporting young people.”

We are scaling our impact through creating trusted collaborative relationships with partners to create opportunities to transform and empower lives. We create bespoke programmes based on the successful MacsMAD programme to deliver local social impact and employment opportunities within the partner business, entering new geographies and industries.
