Who we are

We're Mediawatch UK and we strive to make the media work more safely for children and families.  We do this by raising awareness of harmful and inappropriate media content, and equipping families to make positive, healthy media choices.  Our motivation for doing this is because we believe that children and young people deserve to be protected and nurtured; we think, too, that when industry puts child welfare and well-being at the heart of its products and services, it makes a better society for everyone.
