Malling Scouts

Who we are

Malling is the District area within the scout county of Kent to provide Scouting for young people aged from 6 to 25. Our district covers from Snodland to the North to Mereworth & Kings Hill in the South, to Ightham in the West and Aylesford in the East.

In total, there are 11 Scout Groups within the Malling District.

Each week we offer Scouting activities to young people and adults in the area, ranging from craft and cooking, to camping and canoeing. Our aim is to provide young people with Skills for Life in a fun and interactive way, trying new things and meeting new people. 

All of this is made possible by a team of volunteers covering roles from management to leading weekly sessions, secretaries and treasurers to maintenance volunteers at our campsite. There is always an opportunity to suit the role, time constraints, interests and skills that you have.
