Who we are

Maddie's Miracle is a breastfeeding and perinatal support charity. We are a microcharity that operates on a national scale, providing specialist physical health and mental health support related to breastfeeding and the perinatal stage. Our charity aims to support those most vulnerable who fall through the 'gaps in service provision', whether they are ethnic minorities, refugees, isolated or otherwise vulnerable. 

Mothers have called our support "life saving". Especially when lockdowns took place, mothers were left unsupported without adequate specialist guidance and many struggled with loneliness, anxiety, depression and other mental health issues related to breastfeeding; as well as physical issues like mastitis or baby's tongue tie. 

Maddie's Miracle Breastfeeding Counsellors are trained qualified and experienced in providing specialist breastfeeding support, guidance and counselling.

In addition to providing online support services, we are launching a mobile Breastfeeding Support Bus which will travel around the UK based on referrals and requests of support. The bus will be a mobile breastfeeding 'clinic' that will be weather-proof and equipped to host one-to-one sessions, small group workshops or  to support grassroots breastfeeding groups at their events.
