About us
Who we are
Through theatre, London Bubble unites people and amplifies the voices and stories of those who often go unheard in society. Many of the people we engage consider theatre as ‘not for them’. We aim to increase access to arts and cultural opportunities, making creativity and self- expression something everyone can benefit from. Our core programmes support children, young people and older adults.
London Bubble believes that the creative arts, particularly theatre, unite people and amplify the voices and stories of those who often go unheard in society. This belief, and a deep-rooted commitment to empowering our communities to make their voices heard, drives all of our work.
Our 3 key programmes support:
- Children - including the award-winning Speech Bubbles for those with communication needs and year 6 children at risk of involvement with serious youth violence
- Young People - including 18-30s and teenagers in the criminal justice and care systems
- Older Adults – including the only theatre based activity in Southwark sheltered housing and the Rotherhithe Shed.
