Who we are

Live Inclusive was first established in 1995 (originally known as the South Yorkshire Centre for Inclusive Living (SYCIL). We support individuals with disabilities and long term health conditions to achieve greater independence, choice and control in their lives. We are advocates of the social model of disability, which emphasises the role that society plays in enabling or disabling people’s ability to participate in civic life... things that many of us take for granted. We operate in Doncaster and Rotherham and have contracts delivering one-to-one Enabling Support (to reduce feelings of loneliness and social isolation); Benefits Advice and Information, and Energy Advice. In addition to this, we are commissioned by the Rotherham NHS Integrated Care Board (ICB) to support people who have a neurological condition or who have suffered a brain trauma.  We have a team of volunteers to help us to help as many people as possible.
