About us
Who we are
We develop and deliver drug and life skills
education programmes for children aged 9 – 16
Our DARE programmes are delivered to around 10,000 children every year across the UK. This is done in a variety of ways using a combination of DARE Officers, teachers and DARE Champions who are trained in delivery of drugs and life skills education concepts as well as in delivery of our programmes.
All of our DARE Programmes are developed in line with UK Government guidelines and follow best practice. They are updated and reviewed annually to ensure they remain relevant and up to date.
We continually monitor and evaluate all of our programmes. We seek feedback from students, parents, carers, teachers and our own staff. We have also just had the DARE Primary programme independently evaluated by a professor from Nottingham Trent University, the summary of the final report, analysing the results of 1500 young people can be found here.
