Who we are

Leeds Civic Trust is an independent, non-political, voluntary organisation. We promote the improvement of Leeds. Our principal aims are to encourage: High standards of architecture planning and transport; Conservation and enhancement of the city's heritage; Improvement of public amenities and the quality of life. Our current vision focuses in particular on:

• Promoting high quality sustainable development (relating to urban design, architecture and landscape)
• Making Leeds a great place to live (relating to climate emergency and sustainable transport)
• Supporting a people friendly environment (relating to public open space, pedestrian and cycling priority and public transport)
