Who we are
Kennington Chartist Project launching in April 2018, is initiated and run by local residents to raise awareness of the 1848 Chartist Rally on Kennington Common. The project draws on the skills of local practitioners in the arts with the generous input of historians of Chartism and popular movements. They are supported by the Friends of Kennington Park, and the National Lottery through the Heritage Lottery Fund.
