Who we are
Jami is the specialist provider of mental health services in the Jewish community
We understand that everyone’s experience of mental illness is different. We provide practical and emotional support for everyone affected by a mental health problem, the person with the diagnosis, friend, relative or employer. This includes:
- Supporting around 1,300 people at any one time and reaching thousands more through our community education
- Delivering approximately 27,000 separate provisions of service annually
- Employing 52 Mental Health professionals
- Operating programmes from 4 Community Hubs and 2 Enterprise Hubs
- Providing innovative peer-led services
Our professional team are highly skilled, passionate and dedicated to transforming the lives of people with mental ill health in the community. The team are supported by lay leaders who provide invaluable help and advice and over 200 volunteers who play a vital role in our organisation.
