Who we are

The International Children’s Trust has been working tirelessly over the past 50 years to bring about the changes that children need to overcome regarding the impact of childhood poverty and deprivation, being safe from violence, and exercising their right to education. We continue to promote solidarity as a fundamental value and recognise the importance of global co-operation to break down any barrier that would put at risk children and prevent them from fulfilling their potential.

We rely on the generosity of our benefactors - individual donors and philanthropic associations; and we partner with grant-making bodies.The Trust award grants to support transformational projects; benefiting the most disadvantaged children and young people in every country around the world. With this in mind, we work collaboratively with grassroots and community-led organisations with charitable status, as well as non-profit making and local authorities in order to support their needs and achieve lasting change in children’s lives.
