Who we are

HVCA is a dynamic and innovative climate action group, which leads action on climate change in the Peak District's Hope Valley.

We aim to combat climate change by raising public awareness, taking local action through practical projects, and advocating for change in public policy. We are a Charitable Incorporated Organisation with action groups focussing on energy, travel and transport, and land use. We have received external funding for major renewable energy and sustainable travel projects.
