About us
Who we are
Hope St Mellons (legal name Here For Good Collective) was established in 2022 after local people came together to form a new community development organisation. We are a grass-roots organisation based at the Beacon Centre and working across St Mellons. Our projects include St Mellons Pantry and Pantry Garden, Forest School, Nature Club, Crafty Chats, and the Step Out Scholarship Programme. We host regular community events including coffee mornings, volunteer gatherings and festive events.
Hope St Mellons is a volunteer-led organisation with a growing volunteer base of 35+ local volunteers. We have a small, dedicated staff team (Director, Facilities Mananger, Pantry Manager, Wellbeing Workshop Leader, and Cleaner) and are currently recruiting for a Reception and Administration Assistant and a Volunteer and Community Development Coordinator to support our growth.
