Who we are

Home-Start South Derbyshire has been at the heart of the community for over 30 years, supporting families with young children during their time of need.

We recruit and train volunteers with parenting experience to provide vital, confidential, practical and emotional support to families in their own homes for as long as they need.

Just 2 hours support each week can help strengthen the family unit, build confidence, improve wellbeing and importantly give children the best start in life.
