Who we are

Healthwatch WAM is the independent consumer champion for Health and Social Care in the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead. We are here to: Gather the views and understand the experiences of people who use local health and social care services through living, working and caring for others in RBWM Make known local peoples’ views about the services they use and for their views to influence decisions about local health and social care services Promote and support the involvement of local people in commissioning local care services and how they are monitored for quality Recommend investigation of services by Healthwatch England or the Care Quality Commission (CQC) Provide local people with information about access to local services and support them to make informed choices Make the views and experiences of local people known to Healthwatch England In the case of a complaint about NHS services, we can support a referral to the local NHS Complaints Advocacy service
