Who we are
Headway Worcestershire is a local charity that has been providing vital support to those affected by brain injury for the last 25 years.
We operate across Worcestershire, providing services such as counselling and psychological support, one-to-one support with every day living, rehabilitation through day opportunities, run support groups and much more.
- Acquired brain injuries (ABIs) are the number one cause of disability in young adults.
- Every 90 seconds, someone in the UK is admitted into hospital with one.
- 1000 people in Worcestershire will be diagnosed with an ABI every year.
