About us
Who we are
Since our service began in the 1980s, we have had the same purpose, to support and enable Gypsies and Travellers to achieve a high quality and equitable standard of life.
We provide support, advice and advocacy to improve access to suitable accommodation, public services and employment. Underlying all of our work is the need to challenging discrimination and negative stereotypes,
We work with the community to challenge discrimination wherever we can. We liaise and work in partnership with Welsh government, local authorities and public services bodies to improve the delivery of services to Gypsies and Travellers, particularly regarding the development, management and maintenance of accomodation and sites.
Going forward we want to do more to address the discrimination and social exclusion Gypsies and Travellers face on a daily basis, promoting the successes and good news of the community to encourage greater inclusion and community cohesion.
