Greater Manchester & District Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament

Who we are

Greater Manchester & District (GMD) CND is part of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament.

We campaign for:

• The elimination of nuclear weapons
• An end to illegal, interventionist wars
• The closure of the nuclear power industry

We are the coordinating body for CND-affiliated peace groups across the region. We have a small office in Ancoats, Manchester, which is led by Jacqui Burke (GMDCND's Development Worker).

We use a diverse range of campaigning tactics, including lobbying, media work, e-campaigns and NVDA.
