Who we are

We are GRCC (Gloucestershire Rural Community Council) and we are an independent charity that works within Gloucesteshire's communities to inspire, enable and deliver community action:

Vision: Supporting and empowering Gloucestershire's communities through change

Mission: To help build strong, healthy, sustainable communities in Gloucestershire using our knowledge, experience and networks.

We work countywide, in both urban and rural Gloucestershire. We are a rural champion, part of a network of 38 Rural Community Councils across England, working under the umbrella of ACRE (Action with Rural Communities in England) and reporting directly to DEFRA.
