About us
Who we are
We're going to change the world.
Representing nearly 11,000 students studying at Goldsmiths, University of London in New Cross, South-East London, we're home to some of the most talented students studying cretive, cultural and social courses.
Through a block grant from the College, and income from a bar, shop, cafe and nursery we run a range of services and activities to make the lives of students better. We campaign for change, help students who are in trouble and facilitate those who just want to play sport.
We're a lovely place to work. We're ambitious about the changes in society we want to see, and we have to support our staff team to dream about these things too. Our staff tell us this is a great place to work, with lots of trust, varied projects and levels of responsibility they haven’t had elsewhere.
Goldsmiths is located in New Cross, south-east London. We can see the Shard, Walkie Talkie and the Gerkhin buidlings from our office windows. There are about twenty different bus routes that go past campus and we're 3 minutes walk from both New Cross and New Cross Gate train stations.
