Who we are

The Fund for Global Human Rights (the Fund) is a leading supporter of on-the-ground human rights groups around the world.  Dedicated to finding and funding the most effective human rights organizations in regions from Latin America to Africa to Southeast Asia, the Fund offers grants and facilitates technical support to front-line groups working in challenging conditions with scant resources.

Established 15 years ago, the Fund has delivered over £60 million to more than 670 frontline human rights organizations globally. Primarily supported by private foundations, the Fund is now entering a period of ambitious growth and is seeking to diversify and increase current funding. The Fund aims to maximize existing support from major foundations, cultivate new foundation donors, access opportunities offered from specific bi- and multi-lateral funders, and tap into other new potential revenue streams. The Fund’s European Office – based in London – is key to these growth plans.
