Who we are

Urban Youth is a new grassroots youth charity taking a fresh approach to working with young people by providing interactive, fun and engaging positive activities, programmes and events, enabling us to build a community of young people and give them a safe space, access to experiences and opportunities to help them learn, grow and discover themselves and the world around them and giving them access to positive and motivational role models to help guide and nurture them and help create lasting social change.

Urban Youth has been set up due to the effects of the pandemic on young people, with young people telling us that loneliness, social isolation, family breakdowns, mental wellbeing and loss of confidence being key ingredients to young people feeling a sense of loss and hopelessness.

We have exciting brand-new volunteering opportunities to suit you!

Urban Youth Offers:

Due to the nature of this voluntary role you will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS Police Check before starting the voluntary position and this will be done through Urban Youth if you do not currently hold a DBS.
