About us
Who we are
Established in 1977, Fortalice provides frontline services for adults, families, children and young people affected by domestic abuse in Bolton. Our services include 22 self-contained flats in the Refuge, accommodating 22 women with a capacity for up to 70 children. Additional services at the Outreach Support Centre include one to one advice and guidance for all victims, groupwork, Adults and Children’s Counselling, IDVA and ISVA services, the IRIS Project, a dedicated Children and Young People’s Service and accredited training for professionals. We work to promote and ensure a future free from abuse and educating children and young people is a key part of our service.
