Family and Childcare Trust

Who we are

The Family and Childcare Trust was formed in April 2013 as a result of the merger of two highly influential organisations, the Family and Parenting Institute and Daycare Trust. Collectively, both organisations have almost 40 years’ experience of policy and campaigning on family policy. 

Our Vision is of a society in which all families, not just some, are well-supported and have genuine choices.

We aim to be the best listeners, innovators, advocates and enablers for UK families, especially those who are “at risk” and currently neglected.

We look holistically at all family problems not just a few.
