Who we are
Belief in the UK in Europe. It’s kept us going since our foundation by Winston Churchill in 1949. We’ve championed this principle ever since, forging deep bonds in trade, security, diplomacy and culture that have delivered immense benefits to people’s lives across the nation. Because the data and evidence are clear – a UK closely connected to Europe makes all of our lives better.
Today, we are a powerful cross-party movement of over 26,000 members, 250,000 campaign supporters, and 100 local groups, backed by a strong network in both Westminster and the EU.
The economic and cultural damage of the UK leaving the European Union is undeniable. Yet our belief is steadfast. We remain dedicated to rebuilding a prosperous relationship with our European partners and will continue to work towards the day when the UK takes up full EU membership, and takes up its rightful place at the heart of Europe.
