Who we are
English4All in Leeds provides free English lessons to adult speakers of other languages. It has been established to improve social cohesion between immigrants living in Leeds and native Leeds residents, by offering access to free lessons, building social connections between students and volunteers, and by both groups working together to put on events in the community designed to raise funds to cover the costs of putting on the classes. Events could include plays, musicals, sports days etc. This in itself will improve students' confidence in speaking English, and enable them to foster friendships with English speakers.
