Who we are

EEMUA - The Engineering Equipment & Materials Users Association - is a non-profit membership organisation that exists to serve its member companies. These are often household names and major players in their fields, who share the common characteristic of being owners and operators of industrial facilities. EEMUA members are the users of engineering equipment and materials. They manage industrial process plants, power stations, offshore platforms, storage terminals and other industrial facilities right across the world. Together the assets that they own and operate have a value that runs into billions of Euros.

For more than half a century EEMUA has been helping these companies collaborate in non-competitive ways and representing their interests to others in the sphere of industrial asset management. We interact with a broad range of organisations including regulators, standards bodies, government departments and agencies, equipment manufacturers and suppliers, and contractors and consultants. As the world of industrial asset management becomes ever more complicated and interconnected, and regulation ever more present, the work of the association has never been more relevant.
