About us
Who we are
Our vision is to create a community where deprived people thrive.
We want to enable to disadvantaged people to live independent and fulfilled lives.
We support individuals to overcome the immediate challenges of homelessness, addiction, food poverty and isolation; then we empower them to make positive life choices that lead to improved health, housing, employment and active participation in the local community.
Our approach is to accompany services users in their journey, providing supportive relationships where they can feel safe, be inspired and rebuild their self-confidence and life.
We achieve this work through various projects: we have two homeless accommodations which provide a place for homeless individuals to stay and we work to identify the cause of their homelessness and work to find them more permanent accommodation; we have Recovery House which is a residential rehabilitation project for those looking to recover from addiction; we operate Rushden Food Bank and provide support for Raunds Food Bank and cafe as well as Thrapston food bank, both of which give food parcels to help those in short term crisis; we operate a day centre and drop in service for those in poverty, homelessness and addiction.
