Ely Foodbank

Who we are

Ely Foodbank, part of the Trussell Trust is based in and around Ely, Cambridgeshire. Over the last 10 years Ely Foodbank has grown into a network of foodbank centres across a wide region that provides emergency food and support to people facing hardship. 

Our vision is for a UK without a need for foodbanks. We recognise that ending hunger is about more than food so we provide compassionate, practical support to people in crisis to tackle the root causes that lock people into poverty. We aim to build people’s resilience, so they are less likely to need a food bank in the future.

This vision is founded on and shaped by Christian principles. Our values of dignity, justice, compassion and community, are central to all that we do and therefore supports our aim to be an organisation where the diversity of all employees is valued.  We welcome people of all faiths and none and those that are committed to these values.
