Who we are

Eastside is a market-leading creative education charity inspiring thousands of children and young people each year across Greater London and the UK. The Finance and Operations Manager is a key member of the senior management team and is responsible for ensuring that the charity operates sustainably and efficiently whilst delivering real world impacts and growth. The main focus of the role is delivering the financial management and processes of both the charity (Eastside Educational Trust) and its trading arm (Eastside Resource Management Ltd - concerned with the activities of our Shoreditch HQ including desk and room hires), with additional duties around fundraising and company administration. 

Eastside empowers young lives and youth voice through participation in arts programmes, developing creativity, confidence, resilience, social, technical and employability skills among children and young people giving them the tools and platforms to express their voices.  We have a particular focus on poetry and spoken word, film, digital arts, and drama, championing equal access to creative opportunities for all young lives and seeking to reduce barriers to participation for those in underserved communities.
