Ealing Music Therapy

Who we are

Ealing Music Therapy (EMT) is an independent charity based in the London Borough of Ealing. We support school pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) using Music Therapy, a qualified and validated innovative clinical intervention. Music Therapy helps in pupil development by improving attention and awareness of self and others to manage challenging behaviours and express and process emotional difficulties. This leads to better relationships at school and at home, enabling the pupil to access learning, and life skills and longer term, increase their life opportunities within society.
