About us
Who we are
DCF is a small, local charity who works to promote positive wellbeing amongst young people in the community. As well as our school programme, we hold community group programmes and offer 121 support to young people to build resilience, confidence and self-esteem.
Mission Statement:
To provide a local and accessible support service for children and young people aged 8-17 years of age, who have experienced:
- Someone close to them with cancer OR
- Low self-esteem or confidence OR
- A difficult time emotionally
Through offering caring, supportive community projects, we aim to make a positive difference to their future life and well-being.
